Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment of Water Wing Group 'C' Combatised post in Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in the pay scale as mentioned against each post The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent:

SI (Master): 13 Posts

Pay: PB-2 + GP Rs. 4200

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

1st Class Master Certificate Issued by the Central of State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine department.

SI (Engine Driver): 13 Posts

Pay: PB-2 + GP Rs. 4200

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

1st Class Engine Driver Certificate Issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

HC (Master): 117 Posts

Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.

Serang Certificate.

One year experience in the trade from a recognized Institution/ establishment.

HC (Engine Driver): 56 Posts

Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.

Possessing IInd Class Engine Driver Certificate.

One year experience in the trade.

HC (Workshop): 19 Posts

Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.

Industrial training instituted Diploma in diesel Engine/ Machinist/ Welder/ Machine Shop/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Turner from recognized institution.

One year experience in the trade.

CT (Crew): 71 Posts

Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2000

Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.

Two years experience in operating of Boat below 265 HP as a Sukhani or Greaser.

Last Date: 30 days from 01.05.2010 (Date of publication in the employment news) i.e. up to 31.05.2010 (45 days in case of candidates from far_flung areas)
