The education system in India is huge. India is one of those countries that gives a lot of importance to education. The education standard is quite high in India.
Every year their there are thousands of students who finish their schooling and head towards the gates of the colleges. Basically, there are three kinds of colleges. Namely, Government colleges, Institutions managed by religious organizations and trusts and private sector.
Normally, admission in a typical regular college is not a problem. But in today's world, there is a lot of competition. So every individual wants to get in the best college. The top colleges of India are always flooded with students. As soon as the 12th results are out so are the students in search of the best college where they could continue their higher studies.
There are about 232 universities with about 9500 colleges in India. While, in other countries, the colleges try to show all their good aspects like uniqueness etc. so as to increase the number of students who come to join there institution.This year ORG-MARG conducted a survey and divided it into 2 phases. 1st one being exploring phase were a set of professional worked out to evaluate and list the college which is the best in India. These are understood and then those are short-listed that are really worth being in the the topmost colleges.
Rather than limiting the poll to general, medical or engineering courses like they did last year. The general category was broken into arts, science, law and commerce.
The 2nd phase had a panel of 300 principals and HODs were polled on a huge questionnaire, to know which college is the best. The student traffic is increasing every year for admission in these top colleges. And in near future their demand will be increasing and not deteriorating.
Doing regular graduation and post graduation in India is amongst the most inexpensive in world. The maximum expenditure that you will incur for three year degree course anywhere in India will not exceed Rs 25,000/- The fee range in the University of Delhi is Rs 2,500- Rs 3,000 per year for graduation.

Hence for building up a bright future all students want to join the best that is available to them. And these are the colleges that help them out to study well.
