The Bachelor of Engineering or BE at Mumbai University is a four year degree course. The degree is awarded only to those students who successfully complete 8 semesters included in the engineering course. To get admitted in the BE programme the minimum qualification should be 10 + 2 or completion of Pre university Course (PUC). People who have Diploma in engineering can also opt for this course. They can make a lateral entry. The Lateral entry gives the students leverage in studying the different subjects.
