If you are out of money or the education fees in beyond your reach you can even go for education loans that are easily available, and have to be paid once you get into some job after finishing your college. These days the students union that is present in different colleges have been told to help the new comers with all their problems dealing with the admissions. They act as counselors and help the newer joiners.
Once the research is complete discuss it with the person whose advise you trust the most. You should apply in at least 5 colleges or more so that if 1 or more options are closed you are not left empty handed.
